César Manrique Foundation – Town of Teguise

April 14, 2018 Por Juan Arranz González

Start heading to Arrecife by the central road and take the exit towards Órzola.

There is a bicycle lane on the right side of the road to Tahíche. A little bit before you get to the village of Tahiche, turn left at a roundabout (you will see a sign) and after 50 metres you will find the César Manrique Foundation on the right hand side.

This place was created by César Manrique in 1983 and was opened to public in 1992. It is the former home of the famous and deceased Lanzarote artist.

After this, you will continue your journey to the Royal Villa of Teguise, a beautiful town declared a historic and artistic architectural ensemble.

It’s the ideal place to get lost in its picturesque streets where every corner is a world to discover.

OUR RECOMMENDATION: Trekking bike
